If you leave a comment, your data is collected and and displayed in the comments form. Your IP address and browser user agent string (to aid spam detection) will also be stored.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also known as a hash) may be provided to Gravatar. You can read their privacy policy here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Finally, on approval, your comment and profile picture will be visible to the public.

If you upload an image, please avoid uploading ones with any embedded location data, e.g. EXIF GPS. Other visitors will be able to download and extract this location data.

If you leave a comment, you have the option to ‘opt-in’ and save your name, email address and website in cookies. This is for your convenience, and will allow you to leave more comments in the future without filling in your details again. These cookies last for one year.

When you visit my login page, a temporary cookie is set to see if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains zero personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in to your account, we save your login information and screen display choices for two days. Whereas screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login details will remain for two weeks. But if you log out, these login cookies are removed instantly.

If you edit or publish an article, a cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data; it simply indicates the post ID of your article and expires after 1 day.
